Home & Pet Care Services
DESIGNED AROUND YOUR LIFESTYLE & PET’S ROUTINE
Our curated services create a well-rounded experience for nature-lovers and their companions. We align with your lifestyle, providing scheduled adventures for canine companions and professional home and pet care while you’re away. Guided by your care instructions in the Château Handbook and trained in pet first aid, etiquette and communication, breed-specific behaviours and home management, our Custodians uphold Château’s premium service standards.
We require all pets to be fully vaccinated with in-date documentation. An introductory meeting, including a personality assessment, is held before services commence.
Our service standards extend through our partnerships with industry experts. From trainers, behaviourists and groomers to landscapers, pool technicians and interior designers, curated services and products provide optimal care of your pets, garden and home.

SPECIALITY SERVICES
Our services focus on the finer details, with Speciality Services offering knowledge-specific, attentive care. We recognise pets as individuals, with attention given to their unique personalities and the requirements of their species or breed.
High Affection
We cater to pets who need a little extra care. Whether your companion is too young to be left alone, experiences separation anxiety or simply thrives on company, our High Affection Custodians offer above average attention and companionship. We have experience with affectionate breeds such as Schnauzers and Biewer Terriers, Ragdolls and Devon Rexes and various species such as Cockatoos and Meerkats.
Your Custodian remains present in your home, maintaining a calm presence. For necessary errands, absences are limited to three hours, and if suitable, your pet may accompany their Custodian on outings. This specialised service ensures your pet feels secure and content until your return.
High Energy
For pets that thrive on activity and mental stimulation, our High Energy Custodians are ready to match their pace. Exercise centred Custodians hold Breed-specific experience, maintain your pet’s established routine – whether daily valley jogs, regular 5 km runs or weekend hikes and beach outings.
We run your usual routes, continue established training and use appropriate equipment – including body harnesses and 20 m long-lines where required – to ensure familiarity and safety. Our Custodians regularly work with intelligent, high-energy dog breeds such as Border Collies and Springer Spaniels, as well as species such as African Greys and Dumbo Eared rats. Specialised Custodians provide consistent exercise and mental enrichment through training and puzzle games, keeping your pet active, engaged and content.
Timid Individuals
We understand that some pets require extra patience and sensitivity. Whether naturally shy or shaped by past experiences, sensitive companions require gentle care tailored to their unique personalities. Following your guidance and drawing on our experience, we create a calm, reassuring environment – adapting our approach with soft movements, calm energy and patient interaction.
Mild timid behaviours, such as tail tucking or submissive urination, are met with compassion, allowing your pet to adjust at their own pace. While we specialise in caring for timid-shy pets, we are unable to accommodate those with severe timid-reactive behaviours. Our focus remains on fostering trust and comfort for those who need gentle, consistent reassurance.
Chronic Medication Administration
Managing chronic health conditions requires precision and care. Our experienced Custodians follow your pet’s medication schedule with diligence, documenting each dose to ensure accuracy. Whether your pet is reluctant or adept at avoidance, we administer medication using your preferred approach – be it persuasion, gentle patience or swift delivery.
Our Custodians are trained, prepared and equipped to respond in an emergency. Specialised Custodians bring personal experience in frail care for elderly pets, epilepsy management and the administration of insulin injections. We frequently care for breeds such as German Shepherds, Bulldogs and King Charles Spaniels, supporting their health and well-being in your absence.
Exotic Pets & Plants
Caring for exotic pets and plants requires first-hand experience. Our Specialist Custodians are owners themselves, offering attentiveness, in-depth knowledge and academic insight. They remain up to date, actively involved in specialist communities and organisations. From a single, hyper-focused aquascape to a large-scale reptile collection and breeding operation, we follow your precise instructions detailed in our Château Handbook.
Drawing on their experience, Custodians stay attuned to subtle behavioural shifts and environmental changes, recognising pet and plant cues and accurately interpreting equipment. Custodians adapt their knowledge, holding respect for your preferred techniques to ensure continuity in care while you are away.
Exotic Pets: Rabbits & Rodents | Avian | Fish & Aquatic Plants | Reptiles & Amphibians.
Exotic Plants: High Humidity & Indoor Plants | Succulents & Outdoor Plants | Bonsais | Fruit & Vegetable Gardens.
Smallholdings & Horses
Life on a smallholding follows its own rhythm, and our Custodians understand the daily care required for a variety of animals on large properties. Custodians offering this Speciality Service grew up on smallholdings and are experienced in managing the routines of multiple species. We align with daily tasks such as collecting eggs, rotating animals through garden spaces and maintaining comfortable shelters. We also monitor for signs of pests or predator species, ensuring proactive protection of animals and food stores. From chickens, ducks and peacocks, to donkeys, horses and antelope, we provide knowledgeable care tailored to your pets and property.
